Every nerve in her skull seemed to pound hard and harsh, letting her feel every individual muscle fiber swell, ready to break out of her skin. Black splotches dirtied her sight and seemed to be fickle between coming and going. She quickly blinked them away, regaining her sense of direction. Her head was disoriented though, buzzing with blood rushing to her head as she slowly regained consciousness. Air flooded back into her lungs as she jolted up.
