Personality: She tends to be straightforward and blunt with her words and often moves to the beat of her own drum. For the sake of fashion designing, she tends to lock herself in her room, sketching and sewing all day until she is satisfied with the results. Miya also prefers to have real people model her clothes rather than a mannequin in order to emphasize natural beauty over generic. She'll pull a friend away from whatever they're doing and force them into model even to the point of attempting to strip them or bribing them with food. She has a strong sense of responsibility but is easily distracted by whatever inspiration that hits her. She is a bit detached from her emotions but will smile around her sister.
History: Miya had lost her father to a heart attack at a young age and without a mother, she was left under the care of her drunken uncle. Since then she had taken the motherly role and provides for her uncle and younger sister.
As for her pipe, she was left with her father's pipe collection and the inheritance, but has no access to the latter until she is 18. She's very protective of her pipes due to them being her last link to her father and often keeps the most important on her. Due to stress at home, she had developed a smoking habit but often refuses to smoke without that particular pipe. Often leads to headaches when she doesn't have it and is hit with a nicotine craving.
